About The Role:
The Software Quality Assurance Associate will work with product validation activities involving both manual and automation testing, and will work on developing test frameworks along with below responsibilities.
What Will You Do:
• Product validation activities, both Manual and Automation testing
•Extending the internally developed custom test framework (involves robotics, computer vision, distributed computing and sensor simulation) and utilizing the framework to perform tests
•Extending the framework hardware test fixture
•Defining and developing automated test plans, test cases, and procedures
•Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
•Delivering automated scripts as per plan, and providing update to management on a monthly basis
•Performing limited manual testing as required to gain domain knowledge and facilitate test execution
•Collaborating with development teams to create component and system test plans, test framework, and code.
•Working collaboratively with local and global cross-functional product development teams.
•Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and correct content.
What Will You Need
•Programming experience in Python, LabView, Matlab, or equivalent
•Experience working as a multi-disciplinary engineer (Software, Electrical, Mechanical)
•Demonstrated hands-on Lab Experience
•Test Framework Development (Open source or Custom)
•Computer Vision with OpenCV
•Robotics
•Experience: 10+ Years
•Location : Northford, CT (Day-1 Onsite)
•Must have skills: Python, Test Automation, Firmware, Computer Vision.
•Note: We are seeking an Automation Engineer who is ready to do some manual work as well.
•Bachelors Degree
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $39.38/hour - $52.50/hour
