What you'll do:

• Master Data Governance Framework Development
• Design master data governance operating model and stewardship roles specific to MDM
• Define data ownership and stewardship responsibilities for master data domains
• Create master data management playbooks and governance procedures
• Establish data quality standards and certification criteria for each domain
• Define master data domain scope and cross-system dependencies
• Golden Record Model & Data Architecture
• Support design of golden record models for 4 master data domains: Cost Center, Location Code, Vendor, Revenue KPIs
• Define data lineage, transformation logic, and enrichment processes
• Document master data hierarchies, taxonomies, and classification schemes
• Design data model architecture for Snowflake golden record repository
• Support technical implementation with DNA team on master data structures
• Data Quality Framework & Certification Program
• Develop comprehensive data quality assessment methodologies and scorecards
• Design data quality rules, validation logic, and exception handling procedures
• Create golden record certification criteria and approval workflows
• Establish data quality monitoring dashboards in Snowflake and reporting tools
• Define data quality metrics and KPIs with targets for each domain
• Master Data Documentation & Data Dictionary
• Create detailed data dictionaries for all 4 master data domains
• Document data definitions, business rules, and validation requirements
• Design metadata standards and data classification schemas
• Create data lineage documentation and system dependency maps
• Develop master data governance reference materials and user guides
• Stakeholder Alignment & Data Owner Enablement
• Support Data Owner assignment process for each master data domain
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to define data ownership and stewardship needs
• Facilitate alignment sessions with business stakeholders on master data standards
• Develop training materials for data owners and stewards on MDM governance, with a focus on building genuine data literacy — helping stewards understand how master data quality directly affects the reliability of Finance reports, 
• AI models, and automated workflows they depend on
• Design and execute a structured adoption program for each domain — covering initial onboarding for Data Owners, hands-on walkthroughs of golden record certification workflows, and reinforcement checkpoints that sustain engagement through the full certification cycle
• Monitor and surface adoption signals: track Data Owner participation in certification workflows, steward engagement with data quality dashboards, and downstream Finance team confidence in master data — using these indicators to identify where additional enablement is needed 1. Support certification and approval processes with business leaders
• Program Execution & Deliverable Tracking
• Track master data certification progress across domains and systems
• Support monitoring of data quality improvements and remediation efforts
• Coordinate master data deployment activities with technical teams
• Maintain master data program status and metrics reporting
• Support executive sponsor updates and governance council briefings

What You'll Bring:

• 8+ years of experience in master data management program design and execution
• Demonstrated expertise in establishing MDM governance and stewardship frameworks
• Strong experience designing golden record models and data quality frameworks
• Experience defining data standards, data dictionaries, and metadata management
• Excellent stakeholder management and data owner engagement skills
• Strong understanding of master data challenges in Finance and Strategy operations
• Experience with enterprise data architecture and systems integration
• Proven ability to establish data.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $71.51/hour - $95.35/ hour
