About the Role

The scope of the Project Manager II role involves working at three different locations: Prairie Island, Monticello, and Corporate (414 Nicollet). The role includes solidifying long-term plans, enhancing project estimates, deploying individuals to projects, and managing license extensions from 60 to 80 years. The candidate will take on capital work and depreciate assets. The role requires US citizenship.

What You Will Do

• Coordination with external stakeholders
• Interfacing with the maintenance organization and engineering department, and implementing projects. 
• Weekly meetings
• Sourcing vendors
• Contract initiation and management
• Monitoring financials, escalating concerns, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget
• Risk management
• Presenting to gain approvals for authorization
• Field/plant observation and working with internal stakeholders

What You Will Need

• 5-7 years of cradle-to-grave project management experience
• Experience managing projects of at least $1 million
• Nuclear background is strongly preferred. 
• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background is preferred, as well as civil or construction experience. 
• ABET accreditation is desirable. 
• Finance background is also beneficial. 
• Ex-Navy (submarine/navy) nuclear experience is preferred if no commercial experience. 
• Previous experience with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera is helpful.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $56.79/hour - $75.71/hour
