Our team of 17 UX designers and researchers supports the work of hundreds of engineers across several products, so there is always something happening. Our company is global, and our UX team includes members in Bengaluru, India; Tel Aviv, Israel; Boulder, Colorado; Waltham, Massachusetts; Raleigh, North Carolina; and California. We coordinate our schedules and control the hours we work while interacting with people throughout the world.

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team and help us take our product experiences to new heights and showcase our customer obsession with the best user experience possible.

What You Will Do

  • Lead end-to-end design efforts on complex enterprise software (e.g., storage management tools, data platforms, cloud services).
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to define and refine business and user goals.
  • Maintain consistency and usability across features by referencing UX heuristics and accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508, etc.).
  • Design and iterate wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
  • Collaborate with developers using design tokens and shared component libraries.
  • Create interactive prototypes for stakeholder demos or usability testing.
  • Write UX documentation, including design specs, journey maps, and research summaries.

What You Will Need 

  • Minimum of 8 years designing enterprise product experiences
  • An online portfolio demonstrating advanced, wide-ranging experiences
  • In-depth professional knowledge of latest interaction patterns for web, user-centered design process, design principles and techniques
  • Experience using Figma to create low to high fidelity prototypes and mockups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead ideation sessions and present a strong rationale for design decisions
  • Individual contributor experience leading teams with complex across-feature/theme interaction
  • Ability to influence day-to-day design and research work that spans multiple themes
  • Ability to balance needs of concurrent projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of defining and guiding features and themes to fit with an overall portfolio
  • Experience understanding the value of, collaborating with, and leveraging user experience research
  • Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience advocating for user experience in defining and prioritizing themes across UX and engineering teams
  • Demonstrable experience with complex and modern web designs with the ability to create meaningful and delightful experiences
  • Experience maintaining and evolving design systems
  • Working knowledge of current web-based technologies and frameworks (e.g. CSS, Angular, React) to inform design decisions

 

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $70.18/hour - $93.57/hour
