About the Role

The Analytical Scientist performs entry level chemical analysis in pharmaceutical compounds making full use and application of standard chemical principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.  Work is closely supervised.  

What You Will Do:

• Develop and validate methods; provide analytical support to the Research and Development department to meet project goals; select appropriate methods and techniques in performing analytical experiments.
• Collaborate with analytical personnel to help develop routine analytical methods and work cross functionally to achieve target goals and seek out potential solutions to issues.
• Assist in creating method validation and /or qualification protocols and reports as well as analytical methods; perform all laboratory work that will support method validation, transfer, and qualification.
• General housekeeping including maintaining general cleanliness of laboratories and restocking reagents and laboratory consumables.
• Conduct review of peer data.
• Maintain a through and neat laboratory notebook.
• Compilation of data obtained from analytical tests, analysis of the data, and reporting of the final result to appropriate department.
• Perform qualification of primary and secondary reference material to be used as analytical standards.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $26.46/hour - $35.28/Hour.
