About the Role

Arrow Electronics is looking for a Contract Engineering Associate Mid responsible for the validation of production intent Infotainment software releases and other roles and responsibilities mentioned below  would be working in San Jose, California (Complete onsite)

What You Will Do

• Assist in the validation of production intent Infotainment software releases.
• Assist with and troubleshoot modules within the lab and in the vehicle
• Collaborate with other Engineering teams to triage and root cause software issues 
• Support test teams for vehicle level end-to-end feature verification and validation.
• Mitigate and prevent Infotainment related issues as they emerge
• Identify and prevent roadblocks regarding new software releases 

What You Will Need

• Solid understanding and experience with Android, QNX
• Hands-on experience integrating and testing Automotive embedded sub-systems or similar consumer electronics device
• Experience with audio, video, and camera subsystems and peripherals.
• Fluency with debugging communications issues involving Ethernet and CAN using industry-standard tools. 
• My main responsibility is to review incoming HW and SW issues, be able to review the logs, understand Android Automotive, to be able to do a first-pass analysis. Everything else can be a side responsibility. Since I'm in the midst of screening, I appreciate it if you could select some candidates with relevant experience with Android Automotive and pass the resumes to me. This role requires embedded SW experience in Android Auto

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $53.57/hour - $71.43/hour
