This contract opportunity is with Synopsys. 

What You Will Do

• Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting or debugging software programs. 
• Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and internet-related tools, etc. 
• Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. 
• Works on routine problems with some guidance from more senior level department managers and other engineers across teams. 
• Responsible for establishing personal timetables that supports the assigned project goals.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in software development, debugging, or troubleshooting
• Problem-solving & analytical thinking to resolve software issues.
• Collaboration & teamwork to work across teams and with senior engineers.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $82.46/hour - $109.94/hour
