About the Role
The Senior Product Manager is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, responsible for establishing and executing a strategic capability roadmap within the Financial Planning & Forecasting space. Financial Planning & Forecasting is a critical function that ensures Nordstrom creates accurate and data-driven financial plans and forecasts as part of an efficient, integrated enterprise financial planning process. The Senior Product Manager, Financial Planning and Forecasting, will lead the design, development, and execution of financial planning and forecasting solutions. This role requires expertise in creating and managing enterprise financial tools, with specific experience in platforms such as Anaplan and Oracle Financials. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for crafting a product roadmap that enhances forecasting accuracy and optimizes human capital while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position is critical to driving data-informed decision-making and delivering measurable business outcomes. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, engineering, and data analytics, to deliver solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems. Core responsibilities include managing the full product lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and gathering requirements to prioritizing features and launching impactful solutions. The role requires the ability to translate business needs into actionable product plans, manage competing priorities, and deliver scalable, user-centric tools. The candidate must also demonstrate strong communication skills to align with executive stakeholders, provide regular updates, and present product performance metrics. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have at least six (6) years of product management experience, with a strong focus on financial product management, financial modeling, and enterprise planning systems. The individual must exhibit both strategic thinking and hands-on execution abilities, with a proven track record of delivering results in dynamic, cross-functional environments. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
