About the Role 

In this role, you will contribute to both front-end and application design, technical direction, and architecture, collaborating with various teams to develop purpose-built solutions.

What You Will Do

• Implement customer facing solutions for a SaaS suite of products
• Apply expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, Micro-frontend architecture, Python, and middleware technologies to independently design and develop key services with a focus on continuous integration and delivery
• Interact with 3rd party libraries including Highcharts, AG Grid, internally and externally developed/wrapped controls and components
• Participate in code reviews, proactively identify and address potential issues and defects, and assist with continuous improvement efforts
• Write and review software design specifications in an object-oriented development environment
• Possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and advocating for practical ways to reduce time to market while maintaining high quality
• Be a self-motivated self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Collaborate effectively as a team player, contributing to collective goals and delivery milestones, including knowledge sharing
• Embrace and promote Agile best practices for software development
• Actively participate in the creation and review of both business and technical user stories working with product management and architects providing constructive feedback and input on work effort estimation, as well as architecture and design improvements
• Integrate disparate data from REST API services into a cohesive user interface
• Engage in innovative design and proof-of-concept work with emerging technologies and solutions
• Embrace industry best practices such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, and TDD (Test-Driven Development).
• Write unit and integration tests using chosen DevOps frameworks.
• Provide assistance to production support by offering advice on system functionality and fixes as required

What You Will Need 

• 5+ years of experience in Front End and User Experience development
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular (2+)
• 3+ years of cloud development – AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures and implementations
• Experience with visualization using 3rd party tools such as Highcharts and AG Grid
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and usability best practices
• Strong experience with API integration, including RESTful services
• Proficiency in Python with knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks
• Understanding of data storage solutions, including relational databases and NoSQL
• Experience with git version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a commitment to excellence

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $62.41/hour - $83.21/hour
