About the Role

In this role, you'll perform investigative reviews of severe incidents to analyze the effectiveness of current defences

What You Will Do

• Identify potential remediation opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to improve defences
• Partner with Platform, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to analyse and communicate the effectiveness of defences
• Provide insights and feedback to experts for future expansion capabilities
• Collaborate with individuals and teams across FSO to ensure comprehensive analysis and remediation
• Assist in the management and coordination of remediation efforts for identified issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of findings and recommendations
• Manage special projects, including the development and maintenance of an internal risk register, and oversee other ad hoc requests to support organizational risk mitigation and operational priorities

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Risk Management) or equivalent; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing or investigating severe incidents related to user safety, fraud, or abuse within digital platforms, ideally in Trust & Safety or Risk Operations roles
• Strong proficiency with project management tools, specifically Incident.io (and others, including Asana and Airtable)
• Strong proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), including formulas for automation
• Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups and stakeholders is imperative
• Familiarity with communication tools including Slack, Gmail, Zoom
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and trends in incident data
• Demonstrate a strong bias towards action, proactively identifying opportunities and swiftly driving solutions to completion

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $44.65/hour - $59.53/hour
